It takes a lot of people to coordinate over 10,000 students through three weeks of competition! The Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival relies heavily on its volunteers to make sure that happens smoothly. Volunteers donated more than 2,000 hours at the 2009 Festival!

You don't need a background in music to volunteer at the Festival - orientation and training is provided.  The greatest asset our volunteers bring is a love for music and the speech arts.

Become a part of this event by

• Assisting nationally and internationally renowned adjudicators.
• Hosting bands, choirs, conductors and individual competitors.
• Greeting the public at our information desk.
• Providing administrative assistance in the office.
